Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day enter the Family Guy Universe.

Both Whedonverse alums are playing versions of themselves in the 'Quest For Stuff' Video-Game.

They'll be joined by other geek-chic celebrity cameos such as Patrick Stewart, Bryan Cranston, Stan Lee, Ron Perlman, and George Takei. The game is Comic-Con themed, and features voice-acting from the involved participants. It will be interesting to see what Whedon-y references will be incorporated, as screenshots show the Peter Griffin character becoming a hero named 'Captain Hammered'. The game can be downloaded for free on the iOS App-Store.

In other Comic-Con news, Felicia has released her schedule at the event, which includes a lot of free interaction at her Geek and Sundry offsite event. The corresponding activities are free to the public, and in the past, Mr Whedon himself showed up at the corresponding evening dance parties.

Ming-Na Wen is back at Mulan.

"Years before she was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Ming-Na Wen voiced the title role in the 1998 Disney hit Mulan. Now she's bringing back the beloved character in Disney Channel's Sofia the First".

TV Guide Magazine: Any regrets that you had to share the role with Lea Salonga? You did the dialogue, she did the songs.

Wen: Gosh, no. [Laughs] I know my limits! Lea and I are friends and she has the superior voice - by far. It's like on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I do about 80 percent of my Agent May stunts but for the rest I'm totally fine with my stunt double taking over. I'm, like, "You handle this one. I'll just sit over here in the corner and watch!" Fans have actually suggested that Melinda May could be a descendant of Mulan.

Summer Glau wins Best Actress at Spain's Festival de Cine de L'Alfas del Pi.

It is for her performance in the short film Inside the Box.

The article is in Spanish, but high school Spanish (plus a little Google Translate) renders the relevant portion:
From the cast of 'Inside the Box' also came best actress, Summer Glau. The jury considered her performance to be the most outstanding that they have seen of the 25 short films entered into this year's festival...
The winners aren't listed on the festival's main site yet.
