Which ones? As far as I can recall it hasn't been clearly confirmed in canon that there's any connection between Halfrek and Cecily other than similarity in appearance.
I don't know if they had decided if she was already Halfrek in 1880 and just posing as Cecily or it was a pure accident because someone didn't think about the dates, but later in a conversation with Anya she mentions being in Russia during the Crimean war (as a demon), and that was some 25 years before William was turned.
