If anyone ever says that Spike was undeserving of Buffy's love or not a true champion or whatever I just remember this piece of dialogue. It breaks my heart every time ♥ Poor Spike.

Could be wrong, but is this the only time in the series that Spike says anything like this to Buffy? It's kind of a stunning statement, with all that it implies - that Spike now has access to and understanding of a moral code, that Buffy has broken it, that Spike feels he has a right to take her to task for it.

I think this line is the most exquisite part of the scene, for me.
