Happiness is...

will57
Let's play a bit of 'what if?' Imagine that when Spike went to get his soul in S6, it came with a Gypsy-style happiness clause so that when he returned in S7, a moment of perfect happiness would cause him to lose it again.

So, what would do the trick? I'm not thinking of specific events in S7, per se, just general ideas of what would make a souled!Spike in S7 so happy that the clause would kick in.

Poll is below. And you are heavily encouraged to comment with ideas. :)

Spike has looked up to Angel as a leader worth emulating when Spike purused both evil and good. Consequently, I think Spike would experience a perfect moment of cathartic happiness if Angel acknowledges that Spike has surpassed him as a Champion.

Then he'd try to deny that it affected him so much, but he'd lose his soul which would kinda give him away. :)

And agreed. :)
